Do you remember Cloud, formerly known as Dodam?

In April 2021, our team saw Cloud chained outside, surrounded by trash, and living off of waste at a dog meat farm in Yongin, Korea. Our manager in Korea spent months trying to get permission from the dog meat farm to surrender Cloud and it finally worked in August 2021! Due to previous neglect, Cloud spent months recovering at our facility in Bundang. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we raised funds to send her via cargo (as per airline rules for Cloud’s breed) to NYC.

Cloud arrived in February 2022 and soon found her incredible adopters, Tijana and Branko! They were following her rescue story since the beginning and were interested in her ever since! We’re so thankful they adopted her and are giving her the life that she was patiently waiting for. They have a lot to tell you about their precious Cloud (@cloudthechowchow):

“Cloud loves to nap, explore NYC parks, eat all types of snacks, and play fetch with her favorite spiky pink ball (…for only a few rounds before napping). She is the friendliest lady and always takes time to say hi to her many fans stopping her during walks. Cloud gets along with most dogs but is still learning how to play and act as a fabulous city doggie! She’s met many kids and has been super sweet to all of them too. We’re so grateful to the Korean K9 community and volunteers for all their hard work to bring Cloud into our lives!”
