With the support of our dedicated team and partner organizations, Korean K9 Rescue has helped save over 3,500 dogs from dire situations. In South Korea, where the adoption rate is less than 20%, many dogs face uncertain futures. That’s why we transport them to the U.S., where they have the chance to find loving, forever homes.
We are also proud to be a New Hope Partner with NYC Animal Care Centers (NYCACC), working to alleviate shelter congestion and expand our community’s impact. By collaborating with local shelters, we help ensure more dogs receive the second chance they deserve.
Most of our adoptable dogs are located on the East Coast, with some available on the West Coast. While we primarily adopt within NYC, we do consider adoptions outside the area on a case-by-case basis.
As a foster-based rescue, our dogs stay in loving homes before adoption, giving them the care, stability, and socialization they need to thrive.

She's young in spirit and hops with excitement for all of her favorites. She LOVES her walks, adores meal time, and knows just when to take a good nap. Rogue was pulled from the At-Risk list at Queens ACC back in April, and now that she's had time to decompress she's ready to meet you! She's absolutely the easiest pup and will be down for whatever adventure or lifestyle you have in mind, as long as there are snacks involved.
This lady is all legs - she's a tall 26lb pup and we think she's Australian Kelpie mix. She has a quirky blue spotted tongue, super soft black and silvery fur, and a constant smile.

Miso is a handsome and intelligent 25-lb male. 6 yr old Jindo is mixed with a charming personality. Outdoors, he is active and full of energy; indoors, he enjoys lounging like a cat. Miso would be the perfect companion for a low-traffic household or a single owner without children or other pets. Although Miso is an easy-going dog, he has been part of our training program to address reactivity around other dogs. He has made remarkable progress, advancing to group pack walks and play sessions with our trainer. Miso is now ready to find his forever home! He will thrive in a stable, quiet environment, ideally with an adult-only household of one or two people. Miso would love a home that offers him outdoor adventures like park visits and hikes, which bring him the most joy. Once he bonds with his person, he is incredibly affectionate and loyal. If you’ve ever wondered what a quintessential dog looks like, Hailey is your girl. She adores fetch and tug - she could chase her favorite ball forever so long as you’re into it too. After adventures, she’s ready to curl up for a nap with you or watch TV - whatever floats your boat!
She’s whatever around pretty much any pup or human - only really paying attention to her human. Hailey is the type of girl you could drink coffee at an outdoor cafe on a busy Saturday morning while you read a book.
You can have all that and a bag of chips with Hailey - she’s also a part of our FTA VIP program! This is a foster to adopt program aimed at placing our pups that might need a little more time to acclimate.
