FOSTER FAQ APPLY NOW

our foster program

Fostering a rescue dog is one of the most impactful ways you can help save lives. At Korean K9 Rescue, we rely on dedicated fosters to provide temporary homes for dogs as they transition from difficult pasts to loving forever families. By opening your home, even for a short time, you give a dog the chance to decompress, gain confidence, and prepare for adoption.

What We Provide

We make fostering easy and stress-free! Korean K9 Rescue covers everything—
✔️ Food & Supplies – We provide all essentials, including food, leash, harness, and crate.
✔️ Veterinary Care – All medical costs are covered by KK9R.
✔️ Training & Support – We offer guidance, training tips, and 24/7 support for any questions or challenges.

All you need to provide is love, patience, and a safe home!

How Long Is the Commitment?

Fostering requires a minimum commitment of 21 days.

We understand that things can change, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Apply to foster in three easy steps:

1. Read our Foster FAQ and fill out our Foster Application

why foster – A life changing impact

Fostering directly saves lives—every foster home makes room for another dog to be rescued. Since Korean K9 Rescue does not use kennels in the U.S., fosters play a crucial role in providing a safe, loving home for dogs transitioning to adoption. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can bring stateside from our rescue facility in South Korea.

If you love dogs but can’t commit to adoption, fostering is a rewarding way to make a difference while helping a dog adjust to a new life.
